Mela – Indian Fair at Radha Govind Bhakti Yog Mandir
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, Radha Govind Bhakti Yog Mandir welcomed guests to Mela – Indian Fair, a joyful afternoon celebrating Indian culture, music, dance, art, and community.
From 2:00 to 6:00 PM, the temple grounds came alive with colour, music and a festive atmosphere. Visitors enjoyed a varied programme of cultural performances, artistic presentations and activities, while the Indian food and traditional product stalls created a lively bazaar atmosphere.
The programme opened with a warm welcome, followed by a concert of classical Indian music by Filip Ruciński and a vocal performance of bhajan lyrics by Kaira. The afternoon continued with beautiful presentations of Indian classical dance, including Kathak by Aparajita, Odissi, Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi, with several performances presented by young dancers.
Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy Yoga Chikitsa exercises with Jerzy Luberda, a colourful sari show, and an artistic presentation by Kalpadruma House of Arts, featuring Carnatic vocal music, Mohiniattam and Bharatanatyam.
The afternoon concluded with a further Bharatanatyam performance by Manjari and Natalie Jagło, followed by a relaxing Gong and Tibetan Singing Bowls Concert by Jerzy Luberda.
A special children’s zone provided creative and enjoyable activities for the youngest visitors, while the food and market stalls offered an opportunity to discover Indian flavours and traditional products.
The Mela brought together people of different ages and backgrounds in a warm and welcoming celebration of Indian culture and the joy of being together. We are grateful to all the performers, volunteers, stallholders and guests who contributed to making the day such a colourful and memorable occasion at Radha Govind Bhakti Yog Mandir.
