Five Days of Sadhana, Satsang and Spiritual Inspiration

  • Swami Maheshvaranand 2026

From 23 to 27 September, Radha Govind Bhakti Yog Mandir welcomed devotees and friends for five days of “Hinduism for the Whole Family”, a special devotional programme led by Swami Maheshvaranand.

The five days offered many opportunities to come together in spiritual practice and reflection. Each morning began with Sadhana from 6:00 to 8:00 a.m., creating a peaceful start to the day with meditation, devotion and spiritual practice.

During the weekdays, the programme continued in the evenings, with lectures, satsangs and devotional gatherings from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. These inspiring sessions with Swami Maheshvaranand offered deeper insight into spiritual teachings and connected them with everyday life. His talks brought a special depth to the programme and gave devotees time to listen, reflect and deepen their spiritual practice.

The weekend brought two special gatherings. On Saturday, 26 September, from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m., devotees came together for the 4th Anniversary Celebration of the Mandir, with a cultural programme, kirtan, lecture, Bhog, Abhishek, Arti and Prasad. On Sunday, 27 September, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the programme continued with a final devotional gathering, bringing the five days to a peaceful close.

The celebration was also made especially warm by devotees who travelled from the USA to join the programme and help at the Mandir. Their presence, enthusiasm and willingness to contribute to the preparations and daily activities were greatly appreciated. It was a beautiful example of how the Mandir brings together devotees from different places in a shared spirit of seva and devotion.

It was a beautiful and spiritually rich few days at Radha Govind Bhakti Yog Mandir, a time for Sadhana, satsang, learning, devotion and community, and an opportunity to deepen our connection with Radha Krishna and with one another.

We are deeply grateful to Swami Maheshvaranand for sharing his wisdom and inspiration, to the devotees who travelled from near and far, and to everyone who helped with seva and contributed to the warm devotional atmosphere throughout these special days.
