Govardhan Puja
The Hindu holiday Govardhan Puja commemorates one of Krishna's childhood leelas. Little Krishna convinced the elders that they should offer a feast not to the celestial god Indra, but to Govardhan Hill. When Indra found out that his worship has been stopped, he caused torrential rains to fall for 7 days, resulting in a deluge. At that time, with the little finger of His left hand, Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill to give all the Brajwasis shelter from the rain. That's when Indra understood that his power is no match for the power of The Greatest Shree Krishna.
